Bigelow Poetry Slam - May 1st During Extension

Attention all poets!!

The Library will be hosting a Poetry Slam during L1 and L2 on May 1st to celebrate the end of April, National Poetry Month!! 

 What is a Poetry Slam? Poetry slams give poets the opportunity to practice performing their poems in engaging ways and gather the reactions of the live audience in front of them.

There will be prizes!!

Here are the rules...

  • 1. Poets must perform their own original work – no covers. 

  • 2. No props, musical instruments or costumes.

  • 3. Poems are to last no more than three minutes. 

  • 4. If you plan on participating, you need to submit your poem  to Ms. Guzzi no later than Friday, April 26th.

  • 5. Students who participate in the Poetry Slam will eat  lunch during L3.
