In the Brown Middle School Library, students can find the latest in middle grade and young adult literature, research a topic for school or personal interest, work on homework and class projects, or just have a comfortable place to read and relax.

The collection provides access to over 7,000 books, magazines, as well as numerous online resources. The fiction collection is now organized by genre, making it even easier for students to find the books they are interested in.  With both middle grade and young adult fiction available, it is important that students think about themselves as readers when selecting titles.  Young adult titles may have more mature themes and content, and are noted with a "YA" sticker on the spine.

  • Books circulate for three weeks
  • Students may renew books as many times as needed, unless another student has the book on hold.
  • We do not charge overdue fees, however, there are standard replacement fees for lost or damaged books.
  • Complete NPS Library and Collection Development Policies are available upon request.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 - 3:00

We have a robust student library helper program that helps keep our library running smoothly. If interested in helping out with sporadic projects, please reach out to the PTO.
